Vico Magistretti, a master of Italian design in the 70ies, conceived the building as a mirror reflecting the white of the Apuan Alps and the blue of the closed sea. The interior decoration following the standards of sobriety and refinement, is sorrounded by works of contemporary artists. The hotel has 31 among rooms & suites available for any different traveller's need. We host our clients in our rooms all differents like in a big house where each room has been furbished matching sheets, curtains, tables and beds with the best attention. A wide garden lays all around the building, where olive trees and mediterranean oaks grow sorrounding a pleasant swimming pool with jacuzzi, whose marble bassin recalls the not-far roman ruins of PORTUS LUNAE. The outside talks with the inside bringhing smells and flavours and offering to the taste always new solicitations and sensations. The cook's unique contribution can be seen in the choice of the prime materials all from the most refined gourmet's Italian tradition to prepare tasty and original dishes.
